Our mother taught us to knit and crochet over fifty years ago. From those early Barbie doll clothes for our knitting badges in Brownies to designing gifts for family and friends, we have found ways to resolve our compulsive need to produce something tangible with our time. Though we can both knit and crochet, Yvonne's first love is crochet and Josephine's is knitting.

Our professional careers (Yvonne's in nursing, Josephine's in the rabies diagnostic laboratory) have demanded a strict attention to detail. That skill transfers perfectly to the realm of technical editing.

Our specialties reflect our personalities. Yvonne's artist nature lends itself well to crochet chart creation. Little else makes Yvonne happier than the opportunity of generating a beautiful crochet chart to adorn a designer's pattern. Josephine enjoys the logic puzzle that is grading. The challenge of adhering to a designer's vision over multiple sizes is always welcome.

When we are able to be in each other's company, you can find us hiking in the hills of Texas or the mountains of Alberta.
